Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements (“agreements”) are ubiquitous in matrimonial practice. In order to achieve optimum results for clients, it is beneficial for agreements to be drafted using an interdisciplinary approach. A key area where it is important to keep cross-disciplinary concerns at the forefront is with respect to trusts and how they may be impacted by marital agreements. This webinar will review common marital agreement provisions (prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements) that pertain to trust issues and discuss practical planning in light of modern trust drafting techniques and present sample clauses.
