    • Estate planning should never primarily be about getting a will, saving taxes, or avoiding probate. Estate planning professionals focus on their respective specialties. Attorneys create documents, CPAs hand tax planning and compliance, insurance agents focus on insurance, wealth managers address asset allocations, and so forth. All logical and reasonable, but often really important parts of the process are not squarely within the purview of any one discipline.
