Medical, End-of-Life, and Related Planning for Jewish Clients

This program will provide an overview of the traditional Jewish perspectives on end-of-life medical and related decisions. Ematai is an organization dedicated to disseminating this information to the public. The Ematai Advanced Health Directive and conversation guide will be reviewed and explained. The goal will be to help equip practitioners with the knowledge and materials, to assist those wishing to have medical and end of life decisions addressed in accordance with Jewish religious customs do so. The Ematai conversation guide, which will be discussed, helps individuals and their families anticipate the questions they’ll need to answer as they continue on their healthcare journey.
